"Call and response like BB King." Play a 3-note pattern to find the notes that sound good, and how to let the music breathe with space.
- Find 3 notes
- You can use use 1 3 4
- More:
- add a blue note: 1/2 step after the 4th
- add a 5th
use a only pentatonic or major scale if you’re looking for more. not required
- Stick to those notes
- Find the important note, the 1 –or root– and go back to it to mark phrases
- Leave some space (silence), and bends
- Repeat
